State of the Studios Address Week of March 18, 2019 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Crews are conducting overnight roadway paving for the  arrival and departure of Disney resort buses while overhead electrical work continues on the terminal structures.  Area landscaping as well as additional exterior painting of the guest cue structures is in progress.  New security cameras  along with  large Park entrance and bus transportation signs were recently unveiled. Workers are busily completing metal fabrication and sheathing installation on the structure near the former guest tram area. Click the link below for full coverage.

Shoppers now have an expanded selection of adult and child themed tee shirts awaiting on Carthay Circle shelves. Design choices include characters from Disney motion pictures as well as popular Park attractions.

Crews continue exterior painting of the Park’s gondola station walls and columns, along with installation of additional ceiling fans for guest comfort. No opening date has yet been announced for the Skyliner.

The main  sign has been placed  for the scheduled March 30, 2019 opening of the Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy. The Cruz Ramirez guest meet and greet area is visible in the photo below.
